Featured Events
The Featured Events block allows the display of one or four events within the content of a page. The first event is displayed larger than the others, and which event displays in this area can be manually selected by entering the individual event id into the Featured Event ID field in the right hand inspector. You can find this ID by locating the event you'd like to feature in Events → Events and choosing “Edit” for that event. In the browser's address bar, there should be a part of the URL that says post=, the event id is the number after that equal sign and before the next ampersand.
If the Featured Event ID field is left blank, or the event that was manually set has passed, this event area will display the next upcoming event.
If you select 1 in the Number of Events to Display field in the right hand inspector, only the one larger event will display. If you select 4, then a second row of events displays and these events a pulled in automatically and will be the next 3 upcoming events.
The events calendar will not display in the live preview in the content area. In order to preview the content, you must use the Preview link in the top right corner of the screen and preview in a new tab.
