Galleries

The galleries block allows you to add one of the below three unique gallery styles. To set the gallery type, use the Gallery Type dropdown in the right side inspector.

The captions used in the galleries are set in the Caption field the shows up when selecting the gallery images.

The wall gallery displays all images in the gallery on the page at once in multiple rows. The captions display on rollover of the image. When an image is clicked, a modal opens that offers a larger view of the image and caption, and provides previous and next buttons to allow the user to navigate through the entire gallery while in the modal view.

The slider gallery displays the active gallery image large on the page without the need to open a modal. Previous and next button allows the user to navigate through the entire gallery. Please note that the slider gallery does not display or function correctly in the content editor. In order to see it render and function correctly, you must use the Preview link in the top right corner of the screen.

The logo slider gallery is meant to display a series of logos in a single row, although it's possible it could be used for other purposes. At large screen sizes, 4 logos will display at once; medium screen sizes, 3 logos; and small screen sizes, 2 logos. Any logos that are not displaying on the screen can been seen by using the previous and next buttons.

The logo wall is meant to display a series of logos in multiple rows, although it's possible it could be used for other purposes. The logo wall can display logos at three different sizes—small, medium, and large. Links can be added to the logos by filling in the Link URL field found in right sidebar when viewing the image details. If adding links, it's recommended to set the Link Target field to New Page if the logo will be linking to a site external of the The Hort's website.
